SEL FOTOVOLTAIK ALIRAN KONTINU DARI SISTEM KI/KI3 DENGAN MEMBRAN KERAMIK SEBAGAI PEMISAH

Abstract: Research of photovoltaic cell flow of continuous from KI/KI3 system with ceramic membrane as a separator has been done. This study aims to investigate the performance of photovoltaic cells to generate electricity as well than see the effect of KI concentration of electrolyte solution and the influence of irradiation time. Current and voltage were measured in two conditions, inside and outside the room (at 10:00 am to 02:00 pm). The results showed that the optimum current and voltage in electrolyte solution of KI concentration 0.125 N at 12.00 am. The value of the parameters of the solar cell output derived from the curve of current versus voltage relationship (IV) is the short circuit current, open circuit voltage, maximum current, maximum voltage, and fill factor in a row for indoors, at 1.2 mA, 85.3 mV, 0.83 mA, 60.7 mV, 0.492, and for the outdoors that is 1.5 mA, 103.4 mV, 0.77 mA, 49.0 mV, 0.243. The maximum power that can be used indoors have a greater value than the outdoors, in the amount of 50.361 mWatt and 37.689 mWatt.
