PRODUKSI BIOGAS DARI KOMBINASI LIMBAH CAIR PABRIK KELAPA SAWIT DAN SAMPAH SAWI HIJAU DALAM SISTEM BATCH

Abstract: Biogas production from Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) with addition of green mustard waste as co-substrate in batch system was investigated. This combination was based on increasing carbon to nitrogen ratio (C/N of substrate after the addition of green mustard waste. Biogas production was done by varying the volume of POME and green mustard with addition of effluent from cattle manure fermentation.
The addition of co-substrate improved C/N of POME from 46,94:1 to 23.94:1 and 29.13:1 respectively in the combination of LC:SW80: 20 and LC: SW60: 40. Biogas production was related to biogas volume after 60 days  fermentation. The results showed that LC:SW60:40 produces the most biogas, i.e 2.401004 L.
