PRODUKSI BIOETANOL DARI AMPAS TEBU DENGAN METODA SIMULTAN SAKARIFIKASI DAN FERMENTASI
Abstract: Sugarcane bagasse is
a very abundant and waste containing lignocellulose. Lignocellulosic biomass
can be produced into bioethanol. This research aimed to increase the ethanol
content of sugarcane bagasses with pretreatment using a mixture of NaOH and
NH4OH with simultaneous saccharification and fermentation (SSF) method. 10 g of
sugarcane bagasses pretreated with a mixture of NaOH and NH4OH with variations
of soaking time. The optimum pretreatment in concentrations of 2 % NaOH and
NH4OH 10 % in bagasse weight ratio with volume of solution 1:15.
Saccharification sugarcane bagasses using cellulase enzymes from Aspergillus
niger. Cellulase enzymes tested for their ability to produce glucose from
sugarcane bagasses with Somogy Nelson method. Saccharification process Production of bioethanol by SSF method using
cellulase from Aspergillus niger and Saccharomyces cerevisae were isolated from
fermipan. Ethanol concentration was determined by gas chromatography.
Fermentation results obtained the optimum concentration of 2,11 % ethanol with
3 days of fermentation.
