PENGGUNAAN PASANGAN ELEKTRODA CuO- C PADA SEL FOTOVOLTAIK DENGAN ELEKTROLIT Na2SO4 DALAM GEL AGAR
Abstract: Photovoltaic cells
using CuO-C electrode pair with Na2SO4 electrolyte in agar gel were fabricated
with different concentration of agar (0.5 % - 2 %). The oxide coating on the surface of Cu conducted
with temperature and long electrode combustion variations. Research showed that
the initial increase in agar concentration up to 1 % improves the current of agar gel electrolyte
while futher increase in concentration makes the current decrease and the
voltage increases with increasing agar
concentration. The Oxide coating showed
optimum conditions of combustion at temperature 400oC and for 1 hour. Liquid
and semi-solid photovoltaic cell produce the same current but the voltage of
semi-solid photovoltaic was higher than liquid photovoltaic. The testing
results of the cells showed an ideal I-V characteristic with output parameters:
Voc of 0.032 V, Isc of 0.23 mA, with fill factor value of 0,353.
