PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STUDENT TEAMS ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA SMPN 3 PADANG
Abstract: Many problems in our
life need mathematics to solve it. So that, students must have sufficient
mathematical skills in order to prepare the students for their life in modern
area. For make it happened, mathematics teacher in the school have to increase
active participation of all students in the classroom. But in reality, the
characteristic in teaching learning process still in teacher centered. Only a
few students are active during learning mathematics. So, This research has
suggested a shift from teacher centred instruction towards more active
participatory learning methods by implement cooperative learning model type
student teams achievement division as one way to improve the quality of the
learning process. The research reflects that cooperative learning this type
makes teaching learning more enjoyable and improve student learning activities.
