OPTIMASI TRANSPOR P-NITROFENOL MELALUI TEKNIK MEMBRAN CAIR FASA RUAH
Abstract: Transport of
p-nitrophenol 2,1 x 10-4 M has been out through bulk liquid membrane technique
with 6 mL source phase solution, 12 mL NaOH as feed phase and 20 mL chloroform
as membrane phase. Concentration p-nitrophenol that was transported to feed
phase and the remains in source phase by using Spectrophotometer UV/VIS at
wavelength 318,5 nm. Operation technique helped with stirring velocity 340 rpm.
The result of the research showed the optimum condition to transport p-nitrophenol was at pH 3 for
source phase, concentration of NaOH in
feed phase was 0,1 M and equilibrium time was 90 minute. In this condition,
percentage of p-nitrophenol transport to feed phase was 92,40 % minewhile
percentage of remains p-nitrophenol was 7,29 %. Transport rate constants of
p-nitrophenol is k1 = 0.036 min-1 and k2 = 0.048 min-1.
