MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH DENGAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN THINK ALOUD PAIR PROBLEM SOLVING

Abstract: Not  all  of  students  have  problem  solving  ability,  that  makes  the  students  has  less  mathematics achievement.  When the students gived the routine problem, the students will answer the problem directly but  when  the  problem  being  changed  with  the  unroutine  problem  thats  need  more  comprehension   the students  being  confused  and  has  difficulties  in  answer  the  problem.  According  to  that,  to  make  the problem  solving  ability  increase  then  the  best  way  is  by  apply  Thinking  Aloud  Pair  Problem  Solving (TAPPS)  strategy in the learning process. Because of that the research was held by using  Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) strategy in order to know has the problem solving ability that students has by  using  the  TAPPS  strategy  is  better  than  problem  solving  ability  that  the  students  has  by  using conventional method.  According to data analyze the conclusion are :  problem solving ability that students has by using the  TAPPS  strategy  is better than problem solving ability  that the students has by using conventional method. The average that experiment class has  75,87  and  control  class has average 65,98 and the best development of ability  th atexperiment  class  has  is  in understanding the problem step..
