ISOLASI DAN KARAKTERISASI SENYAWA FENOLIK DAN UJI ANTIOKSIDAN DARI EKSTRAK DAUN BAMBU (Dendrocalamus asper)
Abstract: Isolation of
phenolic compound and antioxidant test of leaves of Bamboo (Dendrocalamus
asper) have been carried out. The bamboo
leaves was blended and extracted with methanol where after the solvent was
evaporated the yellow residu was obtained continued with column chromatography
for the isolation of tcompound of residu, to get pure phenolic was done by
recrystalization The isolate is a solid and yellow which range of melting point
at 228.2 – 230.1 0C that give single spot at some comparable eluent in TLC
test. In the phenolic identification test of the isolate gave blue color. The
Isolate then has been identified based on melting point test, UV-Vis
Spectroscopy and Infra Red Spectroscopy. The UV spectrum showed absorption
maximal at 205 and 251 nm. The IR spectrum displayed characteristic absorption
bands at 3443.28 cm‑1, 3016.12 cm-1, 2828.1 cm-1, 1679.69 cm-1, 1600.63 cm-1,
1421.28 cm-1, 1321 cm-1, 1166.72 cm-1, 1110.8 cm-1, and 771.9 cm-1. The date
indicated that the obtained compound is of phenolic. In addition, the
antioxidant test for each other extract gave the percent of inhibition for
methanol extract 91.52%, ethyl acetate 68.90 %, and hexane 24,25 %.
