MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR LOMPAT TINGGI GAYA STRADDLE DENGAN BANTUAN TUTOR SEBAYA PADA SISWA KELAS VIII C SMP NEGERI 10 SURAKARTA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2012/2013

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of the high jump style straddle the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 10 C Surakarta academic year 2012/2013 with the help of peer tutors.This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The experiment was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects were eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 10 C Lesson Surakarta year 2012/2013 amounted to 28 people, consisting of 14 boys and 14 girls students. The data collection technique is through observation and measurement of basic engineering skills straddle jump high style and observation of the learning activities. Data analysis using descriptive statistics are based on qualitative analysis. The results showed that through learning with the help of peer tutors to improve the learning outcomes of students straddle high jump style of pracyclus to cycle 1 and from cycle 1 to cycle 2. analysis of the results obtained, an increase in cycle 1 in the category is 67.89% complete by the number of students who pass is 19 students. In cycle 2 there was an increase of 85.71% percentage of completeness. by the number of students who pass the 24 students. Basic technical skills and mastery learning outcomes of students increased, although not optimal.
Implementation of cycle 2 has basic technical skills and increased student mastery of learning outcomes for the better and the disqualification when jumping to a minimum so that it can support a quality learning. Conclusions:This study is by learning the high jump straddle style with the help of peer tutors can improve learning outcomes in the high jump straddle style eight sport health education grade students learning C SMP Negeri 10 Surakarta academic year 2012/2013.
