PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) BERBASIS PEMECAHAN MASALAH MODEL POLYA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 5 JEMBER SUB POKOK BAHASAN SISTEM PERSAMAAN LINEAR DUA VARIABEL TAHUN AJARAN 2012/2013

Abstract:  Contextual  Teaching  and  Learning  is  one  of  learning  method  that  make students  to learn mathematics by connecting the material to the real life. Polya model is one of  problem solving  type that  help the students  solving mathematic  problems.  This type of Learning can i ncrease the ability of student  activities and student achievement. Students were guided to learn with their teamwork   in  solving   problem.  The subject of th e  research  is  grade  VIII  F students  of SMPN 5 Jember. The data collection method used  in this research   are  observation, interview and test. From this learn, students can constructs  their  knowledge  by  themself.  The  result  show  the  student  activities  and student achievement increase in every level.
