PENGGUNAAN METODE PARAMETER TAGUCHI DALAM MENGIDENTIFIKASI KEKASARAN PERMUKAAN OPTIMUM PROSES BUBUT
ABSTRACT: Surface Roughness a
mechanic product can be yielded passing a number of processes manufacturer, one
of them is turning process, where yielded surface quality is very influenced by
arrangement of amputations parameter i.e. depth of cut, feed rate and cutting speed.
To get optimum surface roughness used design of experiment (DOE) with parameter
Taguchi method. This method selected because owning the effectiveness storey;
level which is high to be compared to the other factorial method. Intention of
this research is to get the storey; level accuracy of method Parameter Taguchi
in identification of optimum surface roughness of turning. And also get the
amputations parameter storey; level significant influential to surface
roughness. This research is done by choosing three factor able to be controlled
that is; depth of cut, feed rate and cutting speed massing with three level attempts.
Pursuant to parameter Taguchi got nine attempt variations. Object material test
is St. 37 in form of solid bar of the size Ø 30 x 100 mm, counted 9 processes
the guy wire done at the lathe Maximal V 13. From analysis result got that
Level Factor giving optimum surface roughness is feed rate factor at level 1 or
0,112 mm/re, cutting speed factor at level 3 or 110 m/min. Method Taguchi
effective proven prediction of optimum surface roughness, where Ra optimum
prediction 1 µ m which relative is equal to Ra from measurement of attempt that
is and 1,067 µm.
