PENGARUH PENCAMPURAN MINYAK TANAH DENGAN BERBAGAI PERSENTASE PADA PROSES PEMBAKARAN JELANTAH
ABSTRACT: This research is
aimed to describe the influence of mixing kerosene and wasted cooking oil in variation of percentage that is used as
fuel of stove with pressure tank. Description of those influences are average
of the fire temperature, fuel flow rate, and usage efficiency of fuel heat .
Percentage of kerosene were 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70% (by volume) and initial
pressure in fuel tank 0,4 kPa. The result shew that flare temperature rise if
percentage of kerosene rise. The
avarage of each temperature
were 534.11oC for
30% kerosene, 538.47oC
(40%), 541.63oC (50%), 543.73oC (60%),
and 546.97oC (70%).
The mass flow rate of fuel were
44,867 gr/minute for
30% kerosene, 44,082
gr/minute (40%), 42,308
gr/minute (50%), 41,803 gr/minute (60%)
and 40,734 gr/minute
for 70% kerosene.
The average of
fuel flow rate
was 50,949ml/minute. The
efficiency of stove with pressure tank rise if the percentage of kerosene rise,
i.e 4,393 % for30% kerosene, 5,041% ( 40%), 6,452 % ( 50%), 8,162 % ( 60 %) and 9,164 % for 70% kerosene.
