Irrigation of Banjaran
planned to irrigate agriculture area in four Districts
residing in Banyumas regency that is District of West Purwokerto, South
Purwokerto, Patikraja and Kalibagor.
In his growth,
it is believed
have happened water
insuffiency especially at in Banjaran downstream and
dry season. Intention
of research is
to evaluate irrigation
network performance of
Banjaran in Banyumas regency
to improve management
of efficient and
effective irrigation water.
Analysis method the
used is to study
balance irrigate in
intake structure in
Banjaran, Ratio Comparison
between planning discharge
with network capacities discharge,
and Ratio comparison
between realize discharge
with planning discharge.
Difference of characteristic management
of irrigation water done conducted perceived at upstream, middle, and
downstream. Results of research indicate that, availability of banjaran river
water still can answer the demand of irrigation amount of water required in
Banjaran irrigation area. Exploiting of Network Irrigation for the supply
irrigation water was less optimal. Efficiency management of irrigation water
was very low. Usage of irrigation water in upstream area tends to excess of water
and in middle area and go downstream area water insuffiency.
