RENDEMEN DAN KADAR TANIN KULIT KAYU BAKAU (Rhizophora mucronata Lamck) DARI DAERAH TAKISUNG
Abstract: Tanin is complex
compound in the form of polifenol compound, tanin obtained by extracting parts
of plant containing tanin, like stem, branch, root, fruit, seed and mangrove
bark. Direction of this research is to know diameter influences to rendeman and
tanin rate in mangrove bark (Rhizophora mucronata Lamck) through alcohol
extraction method, so that can give information about mangrove husk exploiting
maximally, and also improve economics socialize.Substance that used specially
the mangrove bark which extracted with alcohol, hence got result that
increasedly the diameter, rendemen and tanin rate progressively mount also,
rendemen tanin mean range from 27,31 - 30,13%, while tanin rate range from
19,03 - 27,01%.Tanin content in mangrove bark from Takisung sufficiently high
that is more than 5 %, hence can be made as tanin source and better be
taken tree with diameter > 20 cm.
