RENDEMEN DAN KADAR TANIN KULIT KAYU API-API (Avicennia marina Vierh) MELALUI METODE EKSTRAKSI AIR PANAS
Abstract: Tanin is compound of
polyphenol found on plant; dissolve in water, alcohol, acetone ethyl or
acetone. Target of this research is to know influence of bar shares and
diameter of value and tanin content of Avicennia marina Vierh. This research use method of extracts hot
water with temperature 70o C ± 3 hours. Result of mean percentage of value and
tanin content of Avicennia marina Vierh that is ever greater of bar diameter
and progressively to part of jetty percentage of content and value of tanin yielded
by excelsior. Result of value and tannin content of Avicennia marina Vierh
influenced by Api-Api bark bar shares and diameter, so that Api-Api bark better
to be made by raw material of tanin better come from part of jetty and from
tree have diameter > 20 cm.
