KEBUTUHAN AIR DI KAWASAN HUTAN BUNDER, KABUPATEN GUNUNGKIDUL, PROVINSI DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA
Abstract: This research was
carried out in Bunder Forest area, square 19th and 22 nd. The objectives of
this research was to examine water needs for tourist,‘kayu putih’ oil factory,
nursery, breeding deer area, and domestic used. The data used was primary data,
such as : the water that use by resident, tourist, ‘kayu putih’ oil factory,
nursery, and breeding deer area. Water needs data were collected by field
observation and interview with respondent, where the head of family (HF) was
selected as the respondent. The amount
of the sample was 20% from the total number of the head of family (HF). The
research result shows that the primary water source for domestic use is
groundwater. The average of domestic water that used by resident is 71
liter/person/day. Water amount used by the residents of Gading Village is
160,336 m3/capita/year. The water amount used by tourist (for toilet and
restaurant) is 92 m3/year and 107 m3/year, nursery is 10,512 m3/year, breeding
deer area is 323 m3/year and ‘kayu putih’ oil factory is 2,920 m3/year
respectively.
