INVESTIGASI DAN MODEL TERPADU UNTUK MENDUGA DAMPAK ANGIN PUTING BELIUNG DI KAWASAN HUTAN DAN PEDESAAN DI PROVINSI KALIMANTAN SELATAN

Abstract: The purpose of the work is to develop an investigation and integrated model to determine changes and explain the relationship between the state of the population, forest plantation in the city area during the Tornados in the province of south Kalimantan.For the sustainable protection of forest and state of population in term to develope an investigation and integrated model during the Tornados in the province of South Kalimantan three aspects are of major importance: (1) Identify and classify the land cover and land use in concerning with agrometeorology aspect to prepare and build the forest management system and land conservation model; (2) Investigate and determine the characteristic of Tornados in order to build an integrated model with several approachs such as satellite supported inventory system, agroclimate aspect (especially thunder storm data), state of population and also characteristic of vegetation/land cover/land use); and (3) Identify and delineation the possibilities of Tornados especially on the urban area and forest plantation in the city area.The present investigation (1st year) shows the characteristic of Tornados in the province of south kalimantan which greatly influence the environtmental conditions within the sample area such as thunder storm, land cover/land form, agroclimate datas are taken into considerations. Consequently, the factors contituted the essential base data fot this study. As a final result of this investigation, maps indicating the potensial risks from disturbance due the natural hazard (Tornado) influences were created. In addition, ecological aspects, that is, the geomorphology and dynamism of the vegetation, anthropogenic influences and also remotely sense data are taken into consideration.
