Abstract: Authority of the
Provincial Government as an autonomous region give power to the regional heads
to manage their respective regions. Opportunities that are used by local
governments to establish regional-owned enterprises are expected to manage the
potential-the potential of existing businesses in the region. many central
government encourages enterprises to implement good corporate governance. Due
to the implementation of good corporate Governace believed to help enterprises
and the State's economy is being hit by the crisis rose towards a healthier,
more advanced, and able to compete as well as dynamic and professionally
managed. Besides the complexity of the decision-making process more difficult
and complicated demands the need for strategic management. Therefore it is good
corporate governance and strategic management are interrelated and
complementary. The purpose of this study is to clarify the application of the
principles of Good Corporate Governace in the formulation of strategic
management for the Puspa Agro. This study used qualitative methods, with the
type of descriptive study, Determination techniques using purposive. Data
collection by observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results
obtained in this study shows that good corporate governance in the perspective
of strategic management is done by the Jatim Grha Utama for puspa agro still
less in accordance with the basic guidelines of the National Committee
Governance policy which is a translation of a state decree no.kep
-117/M-MBU/2002.
