EFEKTIVITAS PROGRAM KESEJAHTERAAN SOSIAL ANAK BALITA (PKSAB) DI TAS DR. SOETOMO SURABAYA
Abstract: Toddler Social
Welfare Program (PKSAB) is a home-based conditional assistance program
(remedial care) that specifically address the problems of the welfare of
children under five who are from poor families. This study focuses on the
effectiveness of Toddler Social Welfare Program (PKSAB) in carrying out its
activities crumbling. Surabaya was chosen as the study site because of the
problems of children under five is fairly complex in Surabaya, including
Surabaya given metropolitan city. The purpose of this study was to assess the
success of Toddler Social Welfare Program (PKSAB) in Surabaya. This research
was conducted using qualitative methods evaluative determination techniques
purposively. Data collected by interview and will be analyzed using the
technique of triangulation of data. The results showed that the Toddler Social
Welfare Program (PKSAB) in Surabaya was
effective and well targeted. The results showed that the process of recruitment
of child beneficiaries, birth certificate fulfillment, increasing accessibility
of primary health care, fulfillment of basic education, the development
potential of children under five, strengthening the responsibility of the
parents/families, through institutional strengthening has been carried out in
accordance with the Guidelines Toddler Social Welfare Program (PKSAB) and
effectively implemented.
