ANALISIS KUALITAS AIR DI KAWASAN HUTAN BUNDER KABUPATEN GUNUNGKIDUL PROVINSI DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA
Abstract: Tourism development
in a nature area will result the increasing use of water resources. One of the interested factor for nature
tourism area development is quality of water resources. This research was
carried out in Bunder Forest area, square 19th and 22 nd. The objectives of this research was to
study the quality of water resources that available in Bunder Forest. In this
research, both field and laboratory observations were done. Data collected include : primary data such as
water quality. Water quality was
analyzed based on field and laboratory observations to examine its chemical and
physical characteristics. Water bacteriology was also analyzed to compare with
standard of good water quality. The research result shows that the primary
water source for domestic use is groundwater. Water quality of the Oyo River is
in good quality and classified as B level, except for the value of BOD and COD
that are higher than that of the tolerable maximum value. For the groundwater, the coli bactery content
is higher than that of the tolerable maximum value.
