PENGGUNAAN BABAKAN KULIT KAYU BAKAU (Rhizophora Mucronata Lamck) SEBAGAI PENGAWET TELUR AYAM RAS

Abstract: The Use of Fire Mangrove Bark (Rhizophora Mucronata Lamck) For The Pickling Of Chicken's Egg Race” Research is aim to know the concentration influence and treatment combination yielding durabel of best egg.  This research expected to give the benefit in the form of information about concentration and time which can effectively lengthen a period of keeping chicken’s egg race, so that to the advantage of all good breeder from economic facet and durable. The result of research indicate that the egg getting pickling treatment namely soaking in tannin of fire bark own the longer fresh duration  (40 day), while the treatment which not get soaking of duration pickling as fresh as shorter (28 day).  The concentration treatment (Factor A) and soaking egg (Factor B) and also interaction of treatment factor give the very real egg pickling influence.  Longer soaking egg in tannin of fire bark, it’s seen that endurance of egg freshness tend to also longer.  Excelsior mount of the tannin concentration, hence endurance of egg freshness isn’t yet longer. The highest egg resilience of treatment is A2B4 or treatment with the tannin concentration 2 : 1 (12 litre irrigate : 6 kg of husk) and soaking during 9 day, because egg able to hold out until during 49 day and the lowest treatment is treatment with tannin concentration 3 : 1 (18 litre irrigate : 6 kg of husk) and soaking during 3 day (A3B1 treatment), because egg only able to hold out during 37 day.  The combination of A2B4 treatment can be recommended as effective treatment because can add a period to keeping egg freshness.
