TATO SEBAGAI SEBUAH MEDIA KOMUNIKASI NON VERBAL SUKU DAYAK BAHAU
Abstrak: This article
analyze the interpretation and

semiotic studies. This study is a research method that uses semiotic research

Pierce. As the primary
analysis, the data
are present by

interviews, articles about tattoos Dayak Bahau, books and internet, then data
analysis techniques used in this study is a model of triangular triadic by C.S Pierce.
This results of
this study indicate
that Tattoos For
Media Non-Verbal Communication Dayak
Bahau to this
day continues to
growth and gradually shifting cultural meaning. Now the
user tattoo is no longer a bloody Dayak Bahau course, but
outside of that
tribe. Even now
the phenomenon typical
of Dayak Bahau tattoo has
worldwide so that the foreign society, tattooed their bodies with carvings
typical Dayak Bahau. Relation to non-verbal communication is certainly very visible
with the various
findings of fact
that since ancient
times tattoos are used as a medium of non-verbal
communication by the Dayak Bahau community and even as a symbol of their
indetity.
