PERAN MEDIA MASSA DALAM PERILAKU SEKSUAL REMAJA DI KOTA SEMARANG
Abstract: Mass media's
contribution to the reformation process effectively influence the political and
social agenda of the wider community. In reality, the role has create a lot of
questions, especially for spreading negative information, presenting things
that have been considered as taboo, disregard of social norms. One of the
effects of mass media that invites concern is, when the media freely presenting
aspects of violence, crime, sexuality and sensuality, especially when sex with
all the aspect become excellent product, which were sold for sale by the mass
media. Research on the topic of mass media's role in the sexual behavior of
adolescents in Semarang, using qualitative methods approach, data mining is
done through in-depth interview technique to five informants who were deemed
worthy. The results showed that the benefits of accessing information in the
mass media; add information, insight, knowledge, experience, and entertainment.
Negative impact on freedom of sexual behavior; depend on each individual in place
and treat the mass media. The influence of individuals motivated by the family,
parents, school environment, including cultural, social and religious values.
Media that most affect adolescent behavior in terms of sexual freedom; is the
internet, movies, magazines / tabloids and so that contains porn. The media,
especially the Internet provides all the information you want, including in
sexual matters, some of them has gained access to ornographic sites on the
Internet. The role of social values and religion in nfluencing sexual behavior,
is as a filter, barometer, the basic foundation for attitudes and behavior in
private life, include sexual behavior.
