PENGARUH FAKTOR KELUARGA TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN ANAK USIA 0–3 TAHUN DI POSYANDU
Abstract: Developmental
problems in children is increasing nowdays. There was an increasing number of
children with deviant and in question of development in Raci Health Center. The
purpose of this study was to examine the effect of family factor to the
development of children aged 0-3 years. This study was an
analytic-observational study using prospective cohort approach. The population
was as many as 110 children aged 0-3 years old and their mother while the study
sample was as many as 100 children aged 0-3 years old and their mother taken
simple random sampling technique. The independent variable were the family
income and number of children and the dependent ones was development of the
child which was being assessed using KPSP. Data were tested using Chi-square
test and Fisher's exact test (α = 5%, df = 1). The results showed that there
was not reliationship between family factor and number of children to the
development of children aged 0-3 years, because the majority of mother give
stimulation for their child. The conclusion from this study is stimulation
increases child development and thus further investigation needed concerning to
the effect of another factor towards child development.
