DAMPAK DUKUNGAN SUAMI TERHADAP PARTISIPASI PEMERIKSAAN INSPEKSI VISUAL ASAM ASETAT (IVA) PADA IBU USIA SUBUR DI PUSKESMAS TRUCUK II KLATEN
Abstract: Childbearing age
woman have the possibility of cancer in the reproductive organs like cervical
cancer caused Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). Participation of women in the early
detection of cervical cancer (VIA) is needed to reduce morbidity and mortality.
Childbearing age woman’s participation in VIA examination is influenced by
several factors, one of which is support from their husband.
Objective : Was to know the relationship between husband’s support and
participation in visual inspection with acetic acid (VIA) examination of
childbearing age women in trucuk II public health center of klaten.
Method : This research uses descriptive analytic design, with cross
sectional approach. The population are 44 mothers who followed VIA in Trucuk II
Public Health Center of Klaten. Sampling as many as 35 persons with pusposive
technique sampling. Analysis of data using Kendal Tau.
Result : Characteristics of childbearing age woman by an average age of
37 years old, have an average income 1.546.000/month, the lenght of stayed in
Trucuk II had average of 15 years, based education is a high school education
at most 16 mothers (46%), based husband’s job as a laborer at most 19 people.
Husband’s support of childbearing age woman is good (80%). Participation in VIA
examination of childbearing age woman is high (74%). Kendall tau’s analysis
result obtained p = 0,014 (p < 0,05), so Ha is received.
Conclusion : There is a relationship between Husband’s Support and
Participation in Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) Examination of
Childbearing Age Woman in Trucuk II Public Health Center of Klaten.
