Sebaran spasial-temporal kasus malaria berdasarkan kecepatan angin dan kelembapan di Kabupaten Kulon Progo DIY
Abstract: The purpose of this
study was to find out the correlation of weather variable (humidity and wind
flow velocity) in 2005-2015. Method: Thissecondary data study used 1439 cases
of malaria and weather data for 11 years. The re search design was ecologi
cal study, analysis using time/series graph and bivariate analysis. Results:
Statistical analysis showed that the variables significantly related to the
distribution of malaria cases were wind flow velocity lag 0, wind flow velocity
speed lag 1, wind wind flow velocity lag2, wind wind flow velocity lag 3. The
humid ity was not statistically related tothe distribution of malaria cases.
Conclusion: There was a relation ship between wind speed up to three months
earlier, the humidity was notrelated to the spread of malaria cases. Kulon
Progo Dis trict Health Officeneeds cross-sectoral cooperation with other
agencies, malaria control needs to pay attention to weather patterns in order
to decrease morbidity and mortality due to malaria.
