WOOD CHEMICAL PROPERTIES RESAK (Cotylelobium Burkii ) AND WOOD BANGKAL (Tarenna Costata ) POSITION BASED ON HEIGHT ROD
ABSTRACT: This study aims to
determine variations in chemical components resak Wood and Wood Bangkal growing
in popularity Putusibau stem height position (base, middle, end of therod). The
experiments were performed at the Laboratory of Wood Technology and WoodWork
Shop. Resak wood and wood Bangkal pulverized and sieved passes 40 mesh and 60mesh
restrained. Sawdust assayed extractive, lignin and holoselulosa levels using
theAmerican Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). An experimental method using
acompletely randomized design (CRD) 2 x 3 factorial experiment with three
replications. Results showed the average levels of wood extractive resak 3.2269%
and the mean levels of wood extractive Bangkal 2.8981%, the average level of
20.1452% resak wood lignin and lignin content of wood Bangkal average 24.8506%,
average levels of wood holoselulosaresak 89, 8597% and average levels of wood
holoselulosa Bangkal 90.8824%.
