PERSEPSI MASYARAKAT TERHADAP KEBERADAAN HIGH CONSERVATION VALUE FOREST (HCVF) PT. LIMPAH SEJAHTERA DESA SUNGAI PELANG KABUPATEN KETAPANG
ABSTRACT: High Conservation
Value Forest (HCVF) an area required to maintain or enhance a High Conservation
Value. In the company of importance there is HCVF / HCV for the sustainability
of forests in the company area especially in the plantation area. The existence
of HCVF of the Prosperous Welfare Company in Sungai Pelang Village has been
going on forever. Currently HCVF Limpah Sejahtera Company suffered fire due to negligence
of the company. HCVF / HCV for pelang villagers as a search site before the company's
entry into the village. Determination of number of respondents using Slovin formula
and its determination by purposive sampling. Data analysis with Chi Square formula.
Public perceptions of the High Conservation Value Forest (HCVF) of the Prosperous
Welfare Company Pelang River Village Ketapang District tend to be different.
Analysis shows 52.13% who have positive perception. People who have positive perceptions
in this research are the people who agree to the existence of HCVF in the Company
of Limpah Sejahtera in Sungai Pelang Village. People who have a positive perception
basically know and have felt the benefits of HCVF in the Company Prosperous Prosperous.
People claim HCVF can help livelihoods or get daily food at HCVF Limpah Sejahtera Company. Besides, animals or animals
that live in the vicinity of the conservation forest become an object that can
be seen by the local community. The independent variables that are significant
relation of society perception to High Conservation Value Forest (HCVF) of
Kelaptera Company of Sungai Pelang Village of Ketapang Regency are level of
knowledge, cosmopolitan level, income level and meanwhile not significant /
significant is the age of society.
