PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF DENGAN STRATEGI QUANTUM TEACHING TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 2 RAMBAH HILIR
ABSTRACT: The aim of the
research was to determine the effect of the application of cooperative learning
strategies Quantum Teaching on the ability of understanding mathematical
concepts at grade VIII SMP N 2 Rambah Hilir. Quasi Experimental research used
Two-Group Posttest Only Design. The population of the research was all students
of grade VIII SMP N 2 Rambah Hilir. Random sampling technique used to selecting
the sample. Two classes were choosen as experimental class(VIII C) and control class (VIII A). The instrument that
used in this research was test. Before analysing the data, prequisite analysis
was needed. The normality of data was calculated through Lilliefors. The result
showed the data were normaly
distributed. Then, Homogeneity test two
variances it was found Fcount = 1,879 and Ftabel = 1.974. This means that
Fcount< F table. H0 was accepted. it can be concluded both classes have
variances were homogeneous. Then , t test was used to test. The hypotesis was
found thitung = 4.132 and t table =
2.313. It means thitung> ttabel, H0 was rejected. It can be concluded that
there was an effects of the application of cooperative learning with Quantum
Teaching strategies on ability the understanding of mathematical concepts at
grade VIII SMP N 2 Rambah Hilir.
