PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NUMBERED HEADS TOGETHER (NHT) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN REPRESENTASI MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS VIISMPN 3 UJUNGBATU
ABSTRACT: The purpose of this
study is to see the effect of the learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT)
on the ability of students' mathematical representation. This type of research
is a Quasi-Experiment with design nonequivalen pretest-posttest design. The
population in this research is all class VII SMPN 3 Ujungbatu. Before selecting
a sample class, first tested for normality and homogeneity of variance. Because
the data is normal and homogeneous then continued with equality test
average.because the data already have similar average then, sampling can be
done by using a simple random sampling, so that elected VII2 class as an
experimental class and class VII4 as the control class. In the classroom each
class there are 25 students. Data was collected using test. Data analysis
techniques in this study using t-test, which previously carried out tests of
normality and homogeneity. Based on research, the experimental class had an
average higher than the control class experimental class and control class =
89.80 = 68.72. Calculations by t test obtained t = 9.172 and 2.011 for thitung
table => ttable then rejected H0. It can be concluded that there is
influence of cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) on the
ability of the mathematical representation of students of SMPN 3 Ujungbatu.
