PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TEAMS ASSISTED INDIVIDUALIZATION (TAI) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VII SMP N 3 UJUNG BATU
ABSTRACT: The purpose of this
research was to observe the effect of cooperative learning model Teams Assisted
Individualization (TAI)) on student’s mathematic learning outcomes of student
of 7th grade Junior High School 3 Ujung Batu. This type of research was a Quasi
experimental with design The Randomized Control Group Only Design. The
population in this research were all class 7th grade Junior High School 3 Ujung
Batu. Sampling was done by random sampling, so the class VII.1 selected as
experimental class and the class VII.3 as a class control be sample. Instrument
in this research was essay test that later tasted the validity, discrimination
power, level of difficulty and reliability to determine whether or not to use.
Lilefors normality test on the sample test showed that the experimental class
and control class normal distribution. Homogenity test with F test showed that
class of homogeneos. Based on the hypothesis testing performed by t test obtained
t_hitung = 15,59 and t_tabel = 2,312. This means that t_hitung>t_tabel, then
H_0 is rejected. This means that there were differences between the
experimental class and the control class. It can be concluded that there were
effect of the application of cooperative learning model Teams Assisted
Individualization (TAI) to the mathematic learning outcomes of student of 7th
grade Junior High School 3 Ujung Batu.
