PENERAPAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN MIND MAPPING PADA MATA KULIAH METODE STATISTIKA
Abstract: The background of
this research is the fact that there are a number of university students notes and
most of the notes are monotonous, so the university students are difficult to
pack the material in long-term memory which cause university students poor memory
toward the material and cause low learning result in mathematics. So that the
writer make a research using mind mapping learning strategy. This strategy make
the university students more active to explore their imagination, and make them
be able to see the picture directly, and also make up mental relation which
help to comprehend and keep it in their mind. The university students respons,
6 of 8 questions presented get a pretty good score, and 2 of 8 questions
presented get a good score. So it can be concluded that mind mapping strategy
are quite appropriate when applied to the learning of statistic method. From
this research, it can be concluded that through mind mapping learning strategy,
it can improve the learning results of statistic method of the university
students of UNIPA Surabaya.
