UPAYA BANGLADESH DALAM MENANGGULANGI ANCAMAN PERUBAHAN IKLIM TAHUN 2009-2015
Abstract: Almost everyyearthe
disaster stricken Bangladesh, this iscompoundedbythe impact ofglobal climate
change. This countryis vulnerable toclimate changedue togeographical
conditionsand topographydominatedbylowlandand the location.Bangladesh’s
effortsto overcomeclimate change threat and response to Bali Roadmapismaking
policy such BCCSAP (Bangladesh Climate Change Strategy and Action Plan). BCCSAP
isapolicythat focuses onclimate changein order tocope withthe threats
andimpacts ofclimatechangethose hassixmain pillars.Thisstudyusesthe theory
ofdisaster managementand decision makingthat aimstoseethe implementation ofthe
policy.To implementthe policy,the Bangladeshgovernmentin
cooperationwithvariousparties. Some of theactivities that have beenisbuilding
some shelter to protect publicfrom disasters, reforestation, developingsolar
home systemsasrenewableenergy, as well as thedissemination tothe publicon the
impactand the threatof climate change.
