ANALISIS KELEMAHAN REGULASI PERDAGANGAN SENJATA KONVENSIONAL DALAM UNITED NATIONS ARMS TRADE TREATY (UNATT) TAHUN 2014
Abstract: This study aims to
analyze the regulation of the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty 2014 (UNATT), by
reviewing the content of the articles contained therein, where UNATT as a law
product of global conventional trading is validated by United Nations that is
influenced by the political aspect and the legal aspect in process of forming
until the prevailing in December 24, 2014. As a normative law
research, this study is hoped to depict about the power of UNATT clearly,
systematically, factually and accurately, by using the qualitative technique in
analyzing the support data and the the content of the articles. This study uses
secondary data that is acquired from library, internet and news. In measuring
the power or the weakness of UNATT regime, the legalitation concept is used
with the indicator of obligation, precision,
and delegation to determine the form of
UNATT, whether it is hard law or soft law.
