UPAYA AHA CENTRE (ASEAN HUMAN ASSISTANCE) DALAM PENANGGULANGAN BENCANA ALAM DI ASIA TENGGARA
Abstract: The efforts pf the
AHA Centre (ASEAN Human Assistance) in disaster relief in Southeast Asia,
concept applied is human security and concept disaster management. Research
type applied is analytical descriptive, describe trying to analyze what efforts
were made by the AHA Centre in assisting the countries in the region when the
disaster occurred. Presented data was secondary data obtained through Indonesia
official site, books, journal, internet, and all the sources that were related
to this subject. Data analytical technique applied is qualitative analysis
technique. The results showed that efforts of the ASEAN Human Assistance (AHA
Centre) in disaster relief in Southeast Asia can be seen through some things :
(1)AHA Centre establish emergency response work programs ranging from risk
assessment, early warning and monitoring. (2) Recovery. (3) AHA Centre formed a
disaster emergency logistics system in order to ensure the availability of
goods required for humanitarian aid quickly.
