RESPON INDONESIA TERHADAP PEREDARAN PRODUK GENETICALY MODIFIED FOODS (GMF) KEDELAI AMERIKA SERIKAT
Abstract: Geneticaly Modified
Food (GMF) derived from Geneticaly Modified Organisms (GMO) or Genetically
Modified Organisms, which organism the genetic material (DNA) has been altered
or modified in a way that is not natural, for example through the introduction
of genes from different organisms. The purpose of this study is to know how to
describe Indonesia Response to Product Geneticaly Modified Foods (GMF) Soybean
from United States (2000-2014). This study is a qualitative research. It uses
the library research method by taking the data from books, journals, articles
and the internet. Indonesia Response to Product Geneticaly Modified Foods (GMF)
Soybean from United States namely with to create a soybean import policy set
out in regulation Number: 133/PMK.011/2013 on Classification System of Goods
and Imposition of Import Duty on Imported Goods from 5% to 0 % which is then
amplified by the rules Minister of Trade Number: 45/M-DAG/KEP/8/2013 which
states that the policy of import duty of 0 % only short term. Meanwhile, to
prevent the collapse of the local soybean prices while encouraging farmers to
plant soybean interested, has been published Permendag Number:
59/M-DAG/PER/9/2013, which sets the purchase price for soybean farmers harvest
season (October 2013 until December 2014) amounted to Rp. 7.400/kg.
