POLITIK LUAR NEGERI INDONESIA MENUJU POROS MARITIM DUNIA DI ERA PEMERINTAHAN JOKO WIDODO
Abstract: Most of the
territory of Indonesia is ocean, but the base land is prioritized and make this
country under the threat of sovereignty. This is because of the lack of defense
and security makes many illegal cases occurred in Indonesian sea. Besides that,
lack of utilization of marine resources in Indonesia and infrastructure that
should be improved to all of that maritime based needs. So in 2014 Joko Widodo
have new vision to make Indonesia to be world maritime shaft. The result of
this research shows that Indonesia’s foreign policy is going to the world’s
maritime shaft in the era of Joko Widodo is the development of the existed
policy but also a new policy related to the upgrading of the defense and security
to reduce the threads of maritime sovereignty to realize the vision and mission
in his era of axis of the maritime. Joko Widodo is implementing the vision and
mission of the world maritime shaft because of the condition of Indonesia and
beside that he was inspired by the old maritime policy that once implemented by
Soekarno.
