KERJASAMA INDONESIA – JEPANG DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN ENERGI ALTERNATIF BARU DI INDONESIA
Abstract: This research
goalsis to find out what has gained from the cooperation between Indonesia and
Japan in the energy sector from IJEPA. Form of implementation of cooperation
and the aims of the establishment of such cooperation based on points IJEPA
especially energy sector cooperation. Indonesia and Japan have agreed to
develop alternative energy, building power plant and maintenance program to
Indonesia with funding and expertise from Japan. For Japan,, the Japanese get a
priority market in exporting products such as household and automotive
industries.
IJEPA is a step in bilateral cooperation that has been ongoing since
1958. The signed and agreed upon by the two heads of state, represented by the
Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Japan was represented by
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on 20 August 2007 in Jakarta .
