Abstract: The relationship
between Japan and Indonesia began in January 1958 since the signing of the Treaty of Peace
Between the Republic of Indonesian and Japan Cooperation Indonesia and Japan
continued at the current meeting of APEC (Asia Facific Economic Cooperation),
2004. President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo
Abe agreed to discuss the possibility of establishing an Economic Partnership
Agreement EPA. This cooperation not only with the free market or trade
cooperation but also in services or labor (movement of natural persons).
Cooperation in the field of nursing is implemented because it is associated
with the need for Japan to be of Indonesian workers (TKI) as nurses or
caregivers of elderly (Elderly) which increasingly Year 2008 MoU implementation
delivery nurses and nurse the elderly has been signed by both parties that the
National Agency placement and Protection of Indonesian Workers BNP2TKI and
JICWELS.
