IMPLEMENTASI USAID INDONESIAN FOREST AND CLIMATE SUPPORT (USAID IFACS) DALAM MENGURANGI EMISI GAS DI KALIMANTAN TENGAH 2010-2015

for International Development Indonesian Forest and Climate Support (USAID
IFACS) an aid project Indonesian forestry and climate change agreed by the
Indonesian government and the American Embassy (US) on November 5, 2010
contracts of employment contained in Contract Number EPP-I-00-06-0008, Order
Number AID-497-TO-11-00002. The purpose of this study is to know how
Implementation USAID and Indonesian Forest Climate Support (USAID IFACS) in
reducing gas emissions in Central Kalimantan 2010-2015. This study is a
qualitative research. It uses the library research method by taking the data
from books, journals, articles and the internet. The one of IFACS program to
reduce greenhouse gas emissions is a program of Landscape Conservation Plan
(LCP), where the program is carried out together with the FMP. The purpose of
this LCP is to give an overall picture of the conservation targets in the
Katingan areas to reduce greenhouse gas emissions that occur in Indonesia, particularly
on Katingan. The Government of Katingan based criteria embody Low Emissions
Development Strategy (LEDS) which is one of the programs reduce greenhouse gas
emissions, USAID IFACS again proposed a program that is the Strategic
Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Spatial Planning (SP) as a continuation of
the program RKBA.
