ANALISIS KEPENTINGAN INDONESIA DALAM KERJASAMA GERMAN-INDONESIAN COOPERATION FOR A TSUNAMI EARLY WARNING SYSTEM (GITEWS) 2005-2014
Abstract: This study aims to
make explanation on the background of Indonesian with German Cooperation
established in the 2005 – 2014. The type of research is “explanative –
descriptive“ which will describe and
explain about the reasons for why cooperation happens. The results of this
study indicate that the reason for Indonesian Government to cooperate with
Germany related experience catastrophic tsunami in Acehin 2004, as well as
geographically Indonesian is prone to earthquake-tsunami disaster, so
Indonesian need a disaster management system in order to minimize the impact of
disasters and also describing about the cooperation process between those two
countries.
