ALASAN LARANGAN IMPOR PRODUK CRUDE PALM OIL (CPO) INDONESIA DI AMERIKA SERIKAT TAHUN 2012
Abstract: In 2012, there's a
prohibition of import of Indonesian CPO products in United States that the CPO
do not meet environmental standards in the United States. This is in fact
contrary to other research conducted Indonesia. The research showed that the
reason of prohibition of import of Indonesian CPO products is the United Stated
strategy for achieving its national interests by political and economic
elements. In the political element is the attempt to drop the image of
Indonesian palm oil in the global market, while in the economic element is an
effort to protect the United States soybean industry and the farmers in
worldwide vegetable oil and energy competitions.
