PERLINDUNGAN ANAK YANG TERLIBAT DAN TERKENA DAMPAK DALAM KONFLIK BERSENJATA MENURUT HUKUM HUMANITER INTERNASIONAL (STUDI KASUS REPUBLIK DEMOKRATIK KONGO)
Abstract: The armed conflict
in the Democratic Republic of Congo is a prolonged civil war taking place in
the Congo since 1998 which destroyed and dragged the entire region and the
surrounding countries. The violence has destroyed the infrastructure and
economy of the country. based on this background, the formulation of the issues
discussed are: 1) What are the causes of the involvement of children in armed
conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Recruitment of Children Involved
in Armed Conflict Democratic Republic of Congo, 2) How is the protection of
children involved in and affected by armed conflict International Humanitarian
Law. This research uses normative research methods are literature research or
research studies document that is aimed only at the written rules by examining
the library materials or secondary data. This is a descriptive study that
provides an overview of the issues examined. source data obtained supporting
data or supporting data in the form of documents. Data analyzed from the review
of literature that comes from books and other literature. the results showed
that: 1) The recruitment of children is done in two ways, namely: forcibly and
voluntarily, 2) protection of children involved and Affected summarized in
international humanitarian law.
