PENYELESAIAN SENGKETA OLEH BPSK (BADAN PENYELESAIAN SENGKETA KONSUMEN) KOTA PADANG ANTARA KONSUMEN DENGAN PT. TELEKOMUNIKASI, Tbk (PERSERO) DALAM PEMBAYARAN TAGIHAN TELEPON
Abstract: The existence of the
Consumer Protection Act is needed with respect to the weak position of
consumers than an entrepreneur. The law is expected to bring changes to all
parties, both consumers and businesses to the absence of party feeling
aggrieved. As happened in one of consumers with PT. Telkom Padang who submitted
the matter to the Consumer Dispute Settlement Board (BPSK) Padang. The problem
under study is 1) What factors causing consumer disputes in payment of
telephone bills ?. 2) How does the process of settlement of consumer disputes
between consumers with PT. Telkom through BPSK Padang ?. This research method
is Juridical Sociological. The data used primary data obtained through
interviews and secondary data obtained through the study of documents. Data was
analyzed using qualitative. Results of the study were 1) factors causing
consumer disputes in payment of telephone bills are increasing the amount of
the payment remains on the telephone and cable damage IKR Speedy. 2) The
process of settlement of disputes between consumers and PT. Telkom Padang is to
replace the losses suffered by consumers PT. Telkom and is done by way of
mediation through the Peace Agreement Letter
