Pelaksanaan Penyidikan terhadap Tindak Pidana Pembakaran Hutan di Polres Palalawan Riau
ABSTRACT: Criminal acts of the
forest fire is burning is done in violation of the provisions of Act 41 of 1999
on Forestry. Investigators are authorized to conduct criminal investigations
forest fire is the police investigation. Forest mempuyai position and a very important
role in supporting national development. The problem is, 1) How is the
implementation of criminal investigations Palalawan forest fires in Riau
Police, 2) Are the obstacles encountered investigators in investigating
criminal cases forest fires. In this paper the author uses juridical
sociological research methods are based on primary dokumen, and secondary
dokumen. Dokumen collection through interviews and document study. The results
showed that the process of investigation by the police against the crime of
forest fires going well, but there are still many obstacles faced such as: 1)
difficulty in calling witnesses, because witnesses are or live outside the
area, 2) Remoteness The Genesis case destination,. 3) Lack of facilities and
infrastructure. 4) Lack of community support, 5) The persons involved in the
crime of forest fires. From these conclusions Palalawan Riau Police make
corrections and improvements gradually in accordance with the capability
Palalawan Riau Police.
