PELAKSANAAN LELANG TERHADAP BARANG JAMINAN GADAI PADA PT PEGADAIAN (PERSERO) CABANG TERANDAM
Abstract: PT. Pegadaian
(Persero) if the collateral goods which cannot be redeem, the collateral goods
would be auctioned. Issues that will be discussed: (1) how is the process of the auction of pawning guaranteed goods in
PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Cabang Terandam. (2) what are the obstacles which is
faced out by PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Cabang Terandam Padang in pawning practise
toward thepawning guaranteed goods? This research is using
jurisdictionsociological approach. The data is using primer data and secondary
data, which is collected by interview and document research. The data was
analysed by qualitative method. The
research results the process of the
auction of pawning guaranteed goods is divided by several phases/ stages: a.
Notice of auction b. Preparation of auction c. Implementation of auction, d.
Proceeding of auction. Customer could make any effort in order to customer’s
collateral be not auctioned with the manner/way: extension, instalment,
partially redeem, and postponement of the pawning.(2) the obstacle from that
implementation of auction is notice of auction which is not heeded/ ignored by
customer, the changing of market price that complicates Pegadaian re-assess the
pawning guaranteed goods, and inadequate auction place in Pegadaian.
