PERANAN MAMAK KEPALA WARIS TERHADAP TANAH PUSAKA KAUM DI KECAMATAN KURANJI PADANG
ABSTRACT: The background of
this research is the function and role of heir to the mamak head high treasures
which at the present time has undergone a shift. Based on the above background,
the authors propose some of these issues. Type of study is a socio-juridical. The
results of this study explain that. 1) Role of Inheritance in District Chief
Mamak Kuranji Padang is the leader who has the authority to manage, regulate,
supervise and be responsible for the high inheritance, but the role has shifted
due to culture for men migrated Minangkabau which resulted in them not can
follow the development of the people and treasures. 2) It is caused by several
factors, namely: a. mating system, b. Members of the family used to live
together in the longhouse today they live in a new home (house core). Culture
wander in Minangkabau society as well as the process and the changing times. 3)
Efforts to maintain the heritage integrity of the land in the District Kuranji.
Good awareness mamak chief beneficiary. as well as the members of the adoption
of the mindset and way of working in maintaining and preserving the high
inheritance. And leadership mamak mamak, teachers, scholars in guiding and
fostering matters relating to customs, both regarding inheritance, child
affairs nephew, sale, pledge, and so on.
