PENGARUH UNIT IDENTIFIKASI DALAM MENENTUKAN SESEORANG DIBUNUH ATAU BUNUH DIRI
Abstract: Identification Unit
is part of a unit tasked Reskrim processing the crime scene to develop
investigation in discovering the identity and develop latent fingerprints.
Indonesian police aims to achieve the maintenance of internal security
maintaining security and public order to uphold human rights. In this paper the
author examines how the role of the Police Identification Unit of Padang in determining a person was
killed or committed suicide, constraints Champaign Police Identification Unit
in determining a person was killed or committed suicide. This study used
socio-legal approach, using secondary data were analyzed qualitatively. From
the research it can be concluded that the role of the investigation Unit based
on the fingerprint identification and knot the rope used. Constraints faced by
investigators of them if the victim has lowered the ancestry then the
investigator can not see the noose used in committing suicide and if
fingerprints are in a rough place or on the fabric will be hard to find a
fingerprint Identification Unit investigator.
