GAMBARAN TEKANAN DARAH PENGHUNI PERUMAHANAN POLISI DI CILEDUG, TANGERANG
Abstract: The objective of
this study was to know factors affecting the blood pressure of the residence of
the police housing compound at Ciledug Tangerang. The blood pressure measures
were taken in a seated position and on the right arm by trained health workers
who followed a standardized procedure using regularly calibrated mercury
sphygmomanometer. Systolic blood pressure was measured at the first appearance
of a pulse sound and diastolic blood pressure at the disappearance of the pulse
sound. Three measurements of systolic
and diastolic blood pressure were averaged to reduce the effect of measurement
errors. Hypertension was defined as a systolic blood pressure >140 mm Hg, a
diastolic blood pressure >90 mm Hg. The study is crossectional with 201
samples.The study revealed that there were relationship between the age, sex, occupation, consumption of
fat, consumption of sodium,consumption
of coffee, nutritional status with hypertension, meanwhile there were no
relationship between genetic, exercise with
hypertension.
