PENGARUH BIOCHAR DAN NPK MAJEMUK TERHADAP BIOMAS DAN SERAPAN NITROGEN DI DAUN TANAMAN JAGUNG (ZEA MAYS) PADA TANAH TYPIC DYSTRUDEPTS
ABSTRACT: Biochar, namedly as
a black gold for agriculture, is an anchestor inheritance in an Amazon area
founded a tetra-petra soil in-which had given a beneficial output of soil
productivity. Recently, a pyrolisis technique to burned such agriculture waste
that are rice husks and corn cobs under low temperature and less-oxygen. A
green house research has conducted from Jan – May 2014 in Karawang district.
Rice husks biochar consists of silicon had gave hihger weight of Zea mays
biomass (245,44 gram) and higher nitogen leaf-absorption (13,57 mg) per plant.
Moreover, application of biochar into soil has increase efficiently of NPK
fertilizer up to 33%. Biochar as a soil amelliorant had showed to build a
sustainable agriculture practices.
